Paul McCright, Ph.D.
Paul has been involved in Industrial Engineering for over thirty years as a field engineer, researcher, academician, consultant, and author. Paul holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University, a M.S. in Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. His dissertation research was in white collar productivity.
He has worked in industry as a safety engineer, a facilities planning engineer, an energy management specialist, and a technical contract administrator. He has over twenty years experience as an engineering educator and has done research and consulting in environmental sustainability, occupational safety, industrial ergonomics, productivity improvement, facility layout, and engineering management. He has served as an expert technical witness in the areas of ergonomics and safety. He is certified by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration as a trainer in both General Industry Standards and Construction Industry Standards. He has made numerous presentations at professional conferences, authored dozens of papers, and co-authored one collegiate textbook.
